10% body weight loss
As the First Chapter of this journey ends on a high with what feels like, not only a physical transformation but an emotional one too, I look back to the beginning of the year which feels like a lifetime ago, I was overweight, pretty miserable, had a new baby and trying to look after myself was last on the agenda, if it wasn’t for the Body Blitz I dread to think where I would be now.
In 12 short weeks I have lost weight, toned up, got physically and mentally stronger, had time for me even though it was having tough sessions in the gym it was the best way of having me time as I was achieving something and bettering myself. Most importantly, at the end I was happy with who I was, knowing that this was only the beginning, the kick start I desperately needed to change my way of living for the better.
I achieved so much considering I was in a moon boot for half of this journey, but I never stopped, I never gave up, I continued to work out, you can always work around injuries, when you want to reach goals you can get there no matter what.
Being a mum, sometimes you lose sight of your own life, you give everything to your family the main lesson I have learned is, you are the heart of the family, and if you don’t look after yourself things can slowly begin to fall apart. Making the first step is the hardest but once you do you will never look back.
Most Importantly I want to say none of this could have been possible without Lizelle giving me this opportunity, you have been motivational and supportive and for that I am truly grateful.
Last but not least to Alexis, what can I say, for those days I found tough you pulled me through you picked me up when I was down, you made me laugh again, you taught me to look forward be positive and to believe in myself, be strong and be happy...
Thank you my friend....
