Go Girl Physique was chosen as a finalist to attend the Aotearoa’s Annual Exercise Industry Awards last weekend.These national honours celebrate the achievements of exercise specialists and providers of all shapes, sizes, and modalities.

With categories recognising the many exercise professional positions (trainers, teachers, and instructors), exercise facilities (of all forms and sizes), and program delivery for, and in, the community, the awards recognise the diversity of the exercise sector.

The category Go Girl Physique was selected for was:

2022 ExerciseNZ Awards – Independent Facility – Finalist – Go Girl Pysique.

A reputable third place was won by Go Girl Physique in this category, which included Men and Womens facilities throughout  New Zealand. We are proud of how far we’ve gone as a women’s-only gym to be acknowledged on a national level.

Our facility was highly commended on the success of our personalised program – “The Warrior Goddess Program”  where women are not only supported physically through their workouts but also supported through the emotional journey of sticking to the plan and being accountable for themselves.

The Go Girl Physique facilities themselves are constantly being updated with the newest systems and technology to better accommodate the new era of working out, like the Styku Body Scanner, Myzone monitoring system, and new exercise equipment that is specifically made for the female body.

The Excercise NZ Conference and Awards Night provided an excellent opportunity to assess our position in relation to other gyms nationwide. As it stands, a Women’s Only Gym from Timaru isn’t far off the mark in terms of excellence.
